Child protection services
Under the Convention on the Rights of the Child and other international treaties, children are special agents in the society and their rights should be protected. This includes protection from abuse, neglect, harmful cultural practices, all forms of violence, inhumane treatment and punishment, and hazardous or exploitative labour. Our services include;
- Empowering the community to protect the children, guiding on the available channels of communication in case of any abuse
- Training the community leaders (Community elders, women group leaders, church leaders etc) on children rights and how to guard them
- Running and managing child advocacy campaigns
- Empowering the children against any form of abuse by training them on their rights and empowering them to speak up incase of any form of abuse
